Associate Professor Arnold Ng is a Senior Consultant Cardiologist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, conjoint Associate Professor at the University of Queensland and Centre for Advanced Imaging (UQ).
He is a graduate of the University of New South Wales, where he also obtained his first PhD in advanced echocardiography. He relocated to Holland on a post-doctorate fellowship where he refined his skills in state-of-the-art multimodality cardiac imaging including echocardiography, cardiac computed tomography and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging. He is currently completing his second PhD at Leiden University Medical Centre in The Netherlands with Professor Bax, President of the European Society of Cardiology.
Arnold is an internationally recognised expert in multimodality imaging, with an impressive track record of international peer-reviewed publications, having published over 80Â original research papers and over 100 abstracts in international meetings.
Arnold’s interests include translational research in advanced cardiac imaging, focusing on ischaemic heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, valvular heart disease and cardiomyopathy.
Arnold is fluent in Mandarin.
