Associate Professor Arnold Ng is a Senior Consultant Cardiologist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, adjunct Associate Professor at Centre for Advanced Imaging (University of Queensland) and visiting Associate Professor senior fellow at The University of New South Wales, Sydney.
He is a graduate of the University of New South Wales, where he also obtained his first PhD in advanced echocardiography. He completed his second PhD at Leiden University Medical Centre in The Netherlands with Professor Bax, in state-of-the-art multimodality cardiac imaging including echocardiography, cardiac computed tomography and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging.
Arnold is an internationally recognised expert in multimodality imaging with an impressive track record of international peer-reviewed publications, having published over 90 original research papers and over 100 abstracts in international meetings.
Arnold’s interests include translational research in advanced cardiac imaging, focusing on ischaemic heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, valvular heart disease and cardiomyopathy.
Arnold is fluent in Mandarin.
