Brisbane Cardiology is located opposite the Princess Alexandra Hospital, and next to the Buranda Shopping Centre. Our suite can be found on the first floor executive suites of the PA Parking complex. Access to the clinic can be granted using the steps on Tottenham Street, or the steps/elevator from Ipswich Road.

There is parking available within the PA Parking complex, as well as metered street parking on Tottenham and Wolseley Streets. Disabled Parking is available on Level 2 of the PA Parking complex.

We are located 700m from Buranda Train Station and Busway, and 900m from Dutton Park Train Station. Alternatively, there are a number of bus stops on Ipswich Road.

Please bring the following items to your appointment, where applicable:

referral letter, Medicare card, concession card, current medication list and any relevant, recent test results.

The duration of your appointment is dependent upon a number of factors. If this is your first time seeing our cardiologists, we will need to gather a comprehensive account of your medical history and your current symptoms. If you require any diagnostic testing at your appointment, please refer to the individual procedure and test pages for an estimate of time.

A referral letter is required in order to receive the maximum rebate applicable from Medicare for the services performed. A referral can be obtained from your local doctor, or a medical specialist.

In the event of an emergency, please immediately dial Triple Zero ‘000’ from your phone.

Unfortunately cardiac consultation and diagnostic testing is not covered by private health insurance. If you are referred for interventional procedures, these are all bulk-billed through our cardiologists and performed at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
