Ambulatory Monitoring

Ambulatory Monitoring is used to acquire a recording of the heart’s electrical activity during normal daily activities, over a specified period of time.

Patients may be referred for this test to investigate palpitations, dizziness, fainting or other abnormal heart rhythms. It is also used in the investigation and diagnosis of atrial fibrillation.
